Q: How do I sign up for Team Mobile Alerts?

A: You can sign up for Team Mobile Alerts as follows:

From your mobile handset:
Send a message with the name of your favorite team (i.e., United, Fire or Chivas USA) to 52208. A message will be sent back to your mobile handset, asking you to confirm your subscription. Reply with Yes, and you will start to receive your Team Mobile Alerts.

Q: What types of messages will I receive once I sign up for Team Mobile Alerts?

A: When you sign up for Team Mobile Alerts, you will receive messages directly on your mobile handset about your team. The alerts are:

Off-Season:
Breaking News
League News
SuperDraft Updates
Injuries
Trades
Team Transactions

During the Season:
Game Day Stats/Scores (Includes start, halftime, final and goals scored)
Game Recaps
Trade Alerts
Injury Updates
Breaking News
Player of the Week and other awards announcements
Periodic promotions, discounts and product and ticket offers

Q: How much will I pay for Team Mobile Alerts?

A: Team Mobile Alerts are $1.99 per month, and will be billed directly to your mobile carrier bill.

Q: Can I receive Team Mobile Alerts for more than one team?

A: Yes, you can. Simply follow the sign up procedures described above for each team. You will be charged $1.99 per month for each set of Team Mobile Alerts you sign up for.

Q: How do I opt-out of Team Mobile Alerts?

A: To end your subscription, simply access any of the MLS messages and Reply with ONE of the following words: END, QUIT, STOP, or UNSUBSCRIBE. The Alerts service will recognize only these words. If you have no MLS messages in your Inbox, you can just send the END, QUIT, STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE command to the number 52208. If you have further issues, please call 1-877-557-3774.

If you have subscriptions to multiple teams, and wish to cancel your subscription to just one of them, send the phrase "STOP TEAMNAME" where TEAMNAME is the name of the team you wish to quit. For example, if you are subscribed to FC Dallas and L.A. Galaxy, and wish to cancel only your FC Dallas Team Alerts, send "STOP FC DALLAS". This will leave all other subscriptions you may have active.

Q: Does my carrier support MLS messaging campaigns?

A: If your carrier does not support premium SMS you will receive a message "Sorry, your carrier does not support premium SMS campaigns. We will notify you when we can support your carrier."

Q: I have more than one alert subscription, and I want to cancel only one of them. How do I do that?

A: Send the phrase "STOP TEAMNAME" to 52208. This will cancel the alerts for that team and only that team.
