09/29/07 Fire @ Chivas USA video Logan Pause Halftime Interview
04/07/07 Revolution @ Fire video Pause Goal

Since arriving in Chicago in 2003, Pause has battled for first team minutes with some of the best defensive midfielders the league has produced in "MLS Originals" Armas, Diego Gutierrez, and Jesse Marsch. Even so, the gritty player has been on the field more often than not, averaging 24 MLS games played a year with at least 1,350 minutes played per season. Versatility has been one of the Hillsborough, North Carolina native's greatest attributes, as he has shown his worth both at his familiar defensive midfield position and as a dependable right back during his six seasons. In 2007, Pause made his mark early in the Fire's first-ever season opener at TOYOTA PARK, scoring his first MLS career tally in Chicago's 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution. He continued to serve as a consistent force for the Chicago midfield, starting in 21 of 23 games played. As 2008 began, Logan Pause stepped into the defensive center midfield role for the Fire. And during the 2009 season his form continued as he notched 3 assists and cementing his place in the talent loaded midfield. Thanks to his experience, work ethic, and poise, Pause will once again serve as a team leader on the field and off in 2010.
