The Fire's second round 2006 SuperDraft pick will look to add more MLS first team minutes to his resume in 2008, but those minutes may be in a new role as the Indiana University product has seen time on the backline through the preseason. Plotkin sits amidst a crowded midfield with veteran presence, but the Naperville native's vision and creative passing are traits that Fire fans will hope to see more of from the local product in 2008.
