  • A. Herron
  • B. Soumare

Donations are an essential part of The Chicago Fire's community outreach efforts and provide the team the opportunity to generate positive impact throughout the Chicagoland area. Giving back allows the Fire to support a great number of organizations, which in turn help those in need. We are happy to support various organizations' fundraising endeavors through the donation of Fire memorabilia and merchandise. The following request policy has been developed as a way to create consistency and fairness to the organizations that ask for the Chicago Fire's support.

Please be aware that we attempt to fulfill as many requests as possible and cannot guarantee that every donation request will be met. Due to the large number of inquiries we receive, we face the unfortunate task of making decisions and allocating resources responsibly and are only able to assist organizations once a calendar year.

Applying
All donation requests must be submitted in writing at least six weeks in advance of the fundraising event. No telephone call, fax or email requests will be accepted. If there is a publication deadline or a date by which the donation is needed, requests must be submitted in writing at least six weeks before this date. Written requests must be submitted on organizational letterhead and include:

  • Organizations name, 501 (c)(3) tax id number and mailing address
  • Event name, date and location
  • Type of fundraiser (raffle, auction, door prize, etc.)
  • Who/What is benefiting from the event/funds
  • Contact name, mailing address, and phone number

Mail requests to the following:
Chicago Fire
Community Relations Department
Attention: Donations
7000 S. Harlem Avenue
Bridgeview, IL 60455

Processing
The Chicago Fire will follow up in writing to all requests received, one to two weeks prior to your event. Faxed, e-mailed or incomplete requests will not be accepted. The Chicago Fire asks that telephone inquiries regarding donation status not be made due to the high volume of requests received. All donation decisions made by the Chicago Fire are final and will be mailed according to dates of the events and/or dates by which the items are needed.
