Wheaton Academy Soccer Team travels to Zambia

All Academic Team

With the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association, the Chicago Fire will name the Seventh annual girls High School Soccer All-State All Academic Team This spring. High School Soccer Coaches throughout the state of Illinois can nominate outstanding student athletes. Each team consists of 22 students with a G.P.A. of 'B' or higher and are involved in at least two other extra-curricular school/community activities or sports. These students are recognized on field during half time of a Chicago Fire game in 2007. To nominate someone, download a .pdf nomination form. This fall the Fire will name the seventh annual boys team.

Wheaton Academy Trip to Zambia

Wheaton Academy has been involved in responding to the issues of poverty and AIDS ravaging sub-Saharan Africa for the last five years. The school's work had been focused in one community named Kakolo Village where about one in every four people is HIV positive and the average life expectancy is 34 years of age. read more & photo gallery »
